On the MESA; October 2011


Fall’s full of fun and festive activities at San Diego Mesa College, many are open to the public.


Through December 6th – The Mesa Supper Club. Gourmet dinners created and served by advanced students in the Mesa College Culinary Arts program. Four-course meals for only $14, à la carte options also available. Dine-in or take-out, but please bring a reusable take-home bag. Dinner: Mon. and Tues. 4:15 to 6:00 p.m. Room H-105, MFusion Café, behind cafeteria. Lunch service (meals $7.75): Mon. through Thu. 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cash only.

Mesa College Art Gallery presents “Faculty Plus One.” The biennial faculty exhibition with a twist – faculty members each invite an artist to show an example of their work alongside their own. Reception: Thurs., Oct. 13, 4:30 - 7:00 pm; panel discussion about art, collaboration and building community follows at 7:00 pm in G101. Exhibition runs Oct. 13 to Nov. 9 in the Art Gallery, D101. Mesa College Theatre Company Presents “The Dining Room.” A. R. Gurney’s two-act play consists of eighteen overlapping and unrelated vignettes, all staged in an elegant dining room.
