MakerPlace Workshop Now Open in Bay Park

Are you a "maker"? Do you create things with wood or a sewing machine or metal?  Do you love to tinker with electronics? Want to customize your Harley?

Whatever project you are working on, or wish you could, can become a reality at MakerPlace, an innovative new membership-based workshop in Bay Park.
Think of it this way: you join MakerPlace like you would a gym, but instead of a huge room full of workout  machines, it's a huge shop full of a truly incredible array of tools to make anything your creative mind can think of, along with the space to do it. There's a wood shop, metal shop, electronics shop, auto shop, oversize sewing and printing machines, even a 3D printer! MakerPlace also offers the instruction to help you use the high-tech tools you'd need a huge budget to buy.

MakerPlace had their Grand Opening this past weekend and have already started orientation meetings with new members. There are discounts available for military, students, and seniors, plus a few grand opening specials in the month of March.

If you are the creative type this is your dream workshop! Drop by and check it out at 1022 W. Morena Blvd.,  Suite H, San Diego 92110.  Helpful hint for parking:  Enter into their parking lot via Buenos Ave. one street light north of the MakerPlace building.
