Clairemont Garden Tour & Expo

Garden Tour tickets are now available online! Please visit ClairemontOnline.com to purchase $10 Senior Discount Tickets, and $12 General Tickets in advance. Tickets are available at Sandwich Emporium on Clairemont Drive, and the UPS Store in Clairemont Square. As a friendly reminder, tickets will increase to $15 on the day of our annual Garden Tour (May 5th), so please take advantage of this early bird special.

This year, through a partnership with SDG&E’s Energy Innovation Center, we welcome the valued addition of an Expo to our annual Garden Tour. As we expect the Expo area to provide an educational resource for our neighbors and residents, we can’t acknowledge this step forward without first looking back at 16 years of history. Marcia Van Loy, Dave Konstantin, Chad Gardner, Janet Miller, and countless others deserve credit and kudos for laying the foundation, and supporting this neighbor-to-neighbor garden experience through all these years.

The June Primary Election is just around the corner, which means candidates and volunteers will soon be knocking on your door. The top candidates for the 52 nd  Congressional District will attend a forum and pitch their ideas and platforms to us in what will be one of the top congressional elections in the country. Former State Assemblywoman Lori Saldaña, San Diego Port Commissioner Scott Peters, and Congressman Brian Bilbray have all been invited and are expected to address us.

Also, at our previous meeting, Officer Jesus Montana who patrols Clairemont High School provided a public safety update on drug awareness among our youth in Clairemont. In case you have concerns, questions, or issues you’d like to address to Officer Montana regarding public safety in our Clairemont schools, you may e-mail him at  jmontana@sandi.net  or contact his office number at  (858) 653-4066 .

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, May 3 rd , at 7:00P.M. in the Clairemont High School cafeteria.

Working for you, Clairemont!

Ryan Trabuco

President, Clairemont Town Council
