The program will be presented in English and Spanish in separate rooms (English in the Library; Spanish in the Autotorium [automotive building]). Parents will check-in at the Performing Art Center (PAC) and be directed to the room for the presentation in their preferred language. There will be light refreshments and information about local community resources available to parents/families.
The program is being presented for parents in the Madison cluster through Madison's Family Resource Center in partnership with the Clairemont Coalition and Vista Community Clinic North Coastal Prevention Youth Coalition. Parents are encouraged to attend without their children to learn about internet and cell phone safety to protect their students. The program will mix real-life Internet experience with virtual "street smarts" to guide parents on a safe path through the Web. Please join us for this informative evening.
