Library Summer Reading Program

Calling all dreamers! The North Clairemont Branch Library, 4616 Clairemont Dr., San Diego, CA 92117,  will soon launch its annual Summer Reading Program.
This year’s theme is “Dream Big – READ!” Children of all ages are invited to participate. Just come in to the library to sign up or register online at the San Diego Library website beginning June 15th. Prizes are available after reading 10 books or 10 hours.

As part of the Summer Reading Program, youth are also invited to attend entertainment shows, involving magic, puppets, animals and more. These shows will take place on Mondays at 3:00 p.m. beginning June 18th. In addition, don’t miss your chance to try out Family Yoga, meet a local Children’s Author, and participate in a Library Sleepover for Stuffed Animals. Stop in the library to pick up a flyer of events and get more details on these fun programs!

The Summer Reading Program is open to all young people, from babies to teenagers. All programs and events are free of charge. Please note that Monday hours will be added to the branch libraries beginning June 4th. For more information, call the library at (858) 581-9931.
