Clairemont Family Day is Tomorrow!

South Clairemont Recreation Center Proudly Presents the
23 nd  Annual Clairemont Family Day
Saturday, August 4, 2011 – 8am – 4pm.

Special activities:
8-10:30 am: Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast $5/Ages 10 & Up, $2/Ages 9 & Under
9-3 pm: Park in the Park: 12 th  Annual Classic Car Show
11-11:30: Opening Ceremonies
12-3 pm: Free swim at the South Clairemont pool
All day: Walk about characters & carnival rides
Schedule of Events:
9 am – 4 pm: Booths open – Rides start spinning – Activities begin
9:30 am – 10:30 am: Tai chi Wellness Center Demo (next to tennis court)
11 am – 2 pm: Free pony rides (Clairemont Chamber of Commerce)
10:30 am – 4 pm: All food vendors open
11 am – 11:30 am: Opening ceremonies, Flag presentation and National Anthem
Color guard: San Diego Chapter,  Sons of the American Revolution;  National Anthem: Laura Principato.  Councilmember Lorie Zapf presents award to this year’s honoree: Bob Peltier

12 th  annual Park in the Park “CNC Classic Car Show”
9 am – 3 pm Car trophy presentation 2 – 2:30pm (main stage)

  1. Great event earlier this month. But I suggest you monitor the music that ride vendors are playing. Or at least instruct them to play family music at Family Day. "like a g6" with lyrics like what I put below is not a family song. The south west most vendor had this blaring when I got there.
