The Community Workshop is scheduled on Wednesday, April 3rd from 6 to 8:30 pm at the University of San Diego Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice (IPJ) in Conference Rooms A & B. Public parking will be available in the West Parking Structure adjacent to the IPJ and the West Entrance to campus. Please click here for location/parking directions at USD.
The Walk Audit is scheduled on Saturday, April 6th at 9:30 am. We will meet at the High Dive Bar and Grill (1801 Morena Blvd., San Diego, CA 92110) at the corner of Morena Blvd. & Asher St. A walk audit is a planning exercise in the form of a walking tour of the study area that allows community members to provide the City with direct feedback as to what aspects of the area they would like improved.
Resident participation is very important because the study will fund coordinated transportation and land-use planning projects that encourage community involvement and partnerships. These projects would support livable/sustainable community concepts with a transportation or mobility objective, and promote community identity and quality of life.
The Morena Blvd Station Area Planning Study is a yearlong study so there will be additional opportunities down the road for the public to provide further input.

Also attached is a fact sheet of the City of San Diego’s Morena Blvd Station Area Planning Study and SANDAG’S Mid-Coast Trolley Station Expansion Project for you to review.
During outreach efforts we are finding that many are confusing our project with the Mid-Coast Trolley Station Expansion Project and hope this fact sheet will help explain the goals and scope of each project.
We look forward to seeing you on April 3rd and 6th.
