The Morena Blvd Station Area Planning Study's Community Workshop is tonight. If you have an interest in the future of the Bay Park/Morena Area then you may want to make time to be part of this study.
- The Community Workshop is scheduled on Wednesday, April 3rd (TONIGHT) from 6 to 8:30 pm at the University of San Diego Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice (IPJ) in Conference Rooms A & B. Public parking will be available in the West Parking Structure adjacent to the IPJ and the West Entrance to campus. Please visit www.sandiego.edu/maps/documents/usd_campus_map.pdf for location/parking directions at USD.
Also coming up this weekend is the Walk Audit, another chance for folks in the neighborhood to express their opinions and concerns .
- The Walk Audit is scheduled on Saturday, April 6th at 9:30 am . A walk audit is a planning exercise in the form of a walking tour of the study area that allows community members to provide the City with direct feedback as to what aspects of the area they would like improved. We will meet at the High Dive Bar and Grill (1801 Morena Blvd., San Diego, CA 92110) at the corner of Morena Blvd. & Asher St.
The Morena Blvd Station Area Planning Study is a yearlong study so there will be additional opportunities down the road for the public to provide further input.
