Juan Garcia, Vice President & Branch Manager of PacTrust Bank, wielded the Clairemont Chamber of Commerce’s giant scissors when he and his staff celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of the branch at 5508 Balboa (at Genesee) recently. The Clairemont Chamber of Commerce’s monthly mixer was held immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony and included delicious food from Manhattan Deli, beverages served by Bartender Extraordinaire Daniel Zucker and several door prizes donated by the hosts and other Chamber members.
In addition to short introductions from all guests, PacTrust customer and Pearl Harbor survivor Stu Hedley shared some memories with the crowd. Everyone got a chuckle out of Stu’s recounting of his and his wife of 64 years’ courtship and were inspired by his courage in wartime.
Pac Trust supports Junior Achievement so after Stu spoke, Juan invited a local JA representative to talk about the program and invite other businesses to get involved as well. Wrapping up the evening’s presentations were short descriptions of some of PacTrust’s history, programs and services by a number of bank staffers. Did you know it’s been a community bank in Southern California for over 70 years and that PacTrust customers have access to free transactions at more than 30,000 ATMs nationwide?
