The Fulton Family at Dan Diegos |
The owners of Dan Diegos, the Fulton family, were very happy to hear this of course. The concept of having a family gathering place in the neighborhood where good multi-national food and drink is served has been the cornerstone of the Fulton family’s idea for Dan Diegos, going back to Ryan Fulton’s original idea.
Ryan, the youngest of four brothers, today plays the dual role of Chef and General Manager at Dan Diegos. His cooking background and first 10 years of experience was infused with his mother’s Irish and Italian heritage. He later expanded his experience as Kitchen Manager at other European-themed restaurants.
In keeping with the idea of a neighborhood gathering place, the menu is simple, with no food items over $10—and tax is included in every price! Almost everything is house made including the delicious corned beef, juicy pastrami, creamy mozzarella cheese and all the unique sauces. Ryan’s appetizers and entrees combined with dessert specialties made by the Fulton family under Ryan’s direction make Dan Diegos a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
Enhancing that experience is the beer and wine list featuring several dozen Irish, Italian, French, English, German, and Belgian beers on tap and in bottles. Guests have consistently praised the diversity and extensive list of beers that are hard to find elsewhere.
Dan Diegos is open every day except Tuesday. The pub café serves a tasty lunch menu during the week and a great brunch menu on the weekends. The Irish and English Breakfasts are popular along with the “Happy Happy” plate (you have to ask the servers about that!).
