The YMCA of San Diego County is opening its doors to all those families in need of emergency childcare tomorrow, May 15, 2014 without charge from 6 am – 6 pm. With many San Diego County Schools and Districts closed because of fire and evacuation mandates and precautions, many children will need a place to go. Our childcare centers located in areas not affected by fire will be available as needed until filled.The Y provides a supervised, safe, enriching environment through non-structured, age-appropriate play activities in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.
WHEN: 6 am – 6 pm
WHO: Children K through 6th grade
HOW: Parents are encouraged to bring their children to their closest Y location.
