Free Introduction to Electric Bicycles Tomorrow Night!

Electric bikes can be a great way to have fun, improve your health, save money, help the environment and relieve road congestion (among many other reasons). Did we mention fun?

Join Robert T. Bandhauer on Thursday, May 15th 2014 for a free public informational event, “Introduction to Electric Bicycles”  from 5:30pm to 8:30pm (5:00pm check-in) at the SDG&E Energy Innovation Center, 4760 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.,  San Diego, CA 92117.

This course provides an overview of electric bicycles, also known as e-bikes and electric powered bicycles. Discussion includes operating an e-bike, charging the battery, maintenance tips, repair highlights, and comfort & safety on an e-bike.

Hear about the different types of e-bikes available
Learn about operating and maintaining an e-bike
Get an overview of comfort and safety
Test ride an e-bike! To test ride an e-bike you must bring your own bicycle helmet, be at least 18 years or older, and sign a release.

About the Speaker: Bob Bandhauer is also known as "Turbo" Bob. He draws on more than 30 years of experience working with bicycles and E-bikes including riding and repairing bikes.
