N. Clairemont Library FREE Programs: Something for Everyone!

Eileen Hauser, Branch Manager of the North Clairemont Library at 4616 Clairemont Drive, shares the great programs at the library in September.

TODAY: Reading Practice for Children 4+ , September 11th @ 4pm.  
Tales for Tails:  Children can practice reading to rabbits, guinea pigs, mice or dogs. Animals LOVE to hear children reading.

Friends of the Library September Book Sale September 13th from 9:30-1:30pm. Great deals!

Mexican Independence Day Fiesta,  September 16th @ 6:30 pm.    
To celebrate Grito de Dolores, stop by for a fun filled family fiesta! Polvorones cookies will be served! All ages welcome!

eReader Training,  September 18th @ 1 pm.
Drop by our monthly clinic to get assistance and learn how to borrow ebooks.

Henna Tattoos for Tweens and Teens!  Friday, September 26th @ 3pm.  Ages 11-18.
Back by popular demand! Learn about and experience this beautiful, exotic, and temporary body art
inspired by the traditions of India, Morocco, and the Middle East.  Students will need a signed permission slip to be tattooed.    

What You Need to Know About the Legal System,  Sept. 30th @ 6:30 pm
Learn what you need in order to survive the system when its services are required.  San Diego attorney, Janet Sobol will provide this important and free information.    
                                                             
Every Week:

Tiny Tot Stories: Every Tuesday @ 12:45pm.  
A special storytime for babies and toddlers using books and songs.  Explore language with tots in an engaging way.  This program will change to Rhythm & Rhyme on 9/23 and incorporate music into the tiny tot class.

 Toddler & Preschool Storytime: Every Friday @ 10:30 am.                    
A fun interactive storytime including books, songs, rhymes, movement & bubble time with Miss Karina!  

Sign Language Storytime: Every Saturday @ 11:30 am                      
Ms. Jennifer uses the excitement and fun of signing to enhance the reading of well-loved children's picture books, sing-alongs and bubble time.

Homework Help:  Wednesday evenings @ 6:30-8pm.
College-educated volunteers can help students with their homework or writing practice. This is a free program-no need to register ahead.
