Clairemont Bluegrass Concert Sunday November 16th

Bluegrass music is a form of American roots music and a sub-genre of country music. Bluegrass was inspired by the music of Appalachia. It has mixed roots in Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English traditional music. It was later influenced by the music of African-Americans through the incorporation of jazz elements.

Come prepared to hear old favorites and new-to-you bluegrass music as performed by San Diego's best bluegrass musicians. Wear your bluejeans and plaid shirts and prepare yourself for an enjoyable, relaxing evening on Sunday, November 16, 4:30 p.m. in the sanctuary at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 3502 Clairemont Drive, San Diego, CA 92117.

A reception will be held in the Social Hall following the concert for you to meet the Bluegrass musicians.
