In response to student demand, Mesa has added 117 class sections – a nine percent increase from last spring. Emphasis has been placed on adding math and English classes, which are among those most in demand.
One of the most popular offerings at Mesa College this spring is sure to be the addition of approximately 272 parking spaces in Lot #1.
In a domino effect, the opening of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Building last fall allowed for the removal of the Modular Village, which was returned to student parking. Spring semester will also see the opening of a new English Village complex to accommodate additional classes and centralize department classes in one location.
Signing up for classes is almost as easy as turning on your computer. Just follow the five simple procedures under “New Students” tab on the Mesa College website, www.sdmesa.edu. Student services departments are open Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm, and Fridays from 8 am to 3 pm. All departments are conveniently located in the I400 Building adjacent to Parking Lot #1. Walks-in’s are welcome.
At $46 per unit, California community colleges offer an affordable way to secure a college degree. Click the financial aid link on any of the college’s website to learn more about various avenues to secure financial aid.
In addition to Mesa’s degree and certificate programs, non-credit, continuing education classes are also offered on the Mesa College campus by its sister institution, San Diego Continuing Education. A variety of noncredit courses are offered at the CE Building Mesa College, and six other campuses and several community locations throughout the city.
