"Relay for Life Clairemont" Sign Up Now Available

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all.

This year's Relay for Life Clairemont will be held Saturday, May 16th, 2015  from 10am-10pm at the North Clairemont Recreation Center, 4421 Bannock Ave, San Diego, CA.

Relay for Life is a team event. Friends, families, co-workers and neighbor form teams and members of each team take turns walking around the track, so that someone from each team is always walking. There is no registration fee to participate and you can sign up online at: www.relayforlife.org/clairemontca

Special events honor those lost to cancer, those fighting it, and those who have survived:

• Survivor Breakfast: 10 am
• Opening Ceremony: 10:30 am
• Survivor Lap: 11 am
• Luminaria Ceremony:  8 pm
• Closing Ceremony: 9:30 pm

Food, games and activities provide entertainment and build camaraderie. It is a family-friendly environment for the entire community.
