Clairemont Certified Farmers Market to Open Next Week at Madison High School

Great news for Farmers Market fans in Clairemont! The new Clairemont Certified Farmers Market opens next Saturday May 9th at Madison High School bringing fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and spice, locally grown, to your plate.

The market will be open every Saturday all year, rain or shine, from 9am-3pm and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Foundation of James Madison High School.

Paige Searles, who is the vendor coordinator, said she is having a great response and expects to have 20-25 vendors there the first week. "We are also giving away some fun green sunglasses to the first 250 people on the 9th," she told me, "We plan to have promotions every month to keep it fun, because we want Clairemont to make visiting the market a weekly Saturday morning habit."

In addition to fine local certified and 100% organic produce, plants and flowers, the market will have have artisan breads, fresh baked pies, cookies, cakes and cupcakes, seasonings, hummus, oils & vinegers, kettle corn, gourmet doggie treats, local honey, packaged fresh coffee, and so much more.

Be among the first to visit the Clairemont Certified Farmers market at Madison High School and go home with a FREE pair of groovy green sunglasses (while supplies last; first 250 customers).

Check out the festive, social atmosphere and support our local farmers.  This is a great amenity for our community IF WE SUPPORT IT!  Tell your friends, invite your neighbors to go with you. The more we support the market the better it will get; if the sellers know they can do well here they will come.
