In Rhythms Yoga: Monday Morning Yoga

There are hidden gems throughout San Diego for opportunities for yoga and health.  Trilogy Sanctuary in La Jolla is one of those finds. Tucked away on a rooftop in La Jolla, 7650 Girard Ave #400, you can find a unique studio that offers outdoor and indoor yoga including aerial rooftop yoga, a cafe that offers organic, vegan, and gluten-free food, yoga workshops and teacher trainings, nutritional and detox counseling, live music, entertainment and more.

While most yoga studios offer yoga, workshops and healing opportunities, Trilogy Sanctuary offers something a little more unique: the opportunity to dine, connect and heal in a supported community of like-minded people.

The aerial yoga class in particular, is unique in that it is on the roof in beautiful downtown La Jolla, with an ocean view. Aerial yoga classes allow for a unique yoga experience where the use of hammocks help to accentuate deep stretches, added release in the spine with supported inversions, and strength building opportunities.

The last posture offered in class is a hammock supported savasana, which allows for a deep relaxation. Similar to the grandiosity of a “grand-finale” at the end of a fireworks show, it must be experienced in person.

Check with your doctor before performing any form of exercise including yoga and breathing techniques.
Always honor your body. If a posture gives you pain, gently come out.

Namaste,
