The proceeds will benefit under-served women and kids. The event takes place, this Sat., Aug. 8th, from 10-1 pm at the Waterfront Park, 1600 Pacific Hwy. San Diego 92101. The movement for the event has already raised $76,228.
This is a great way to get outdoors and practice yoga while making a difference for others. The founder of the One Love Movement, Kim Bauman, shares her goals in leading the event:, “To make a difference for as many under-served kids as possible, kids that I see myself in, and to inspire others to take action and give back in whatever way it is that serves their heart.”
The yoga teachers and acroyoga teachers guiding the event will include: Kim Bauman, Taylor Harkness, MacKenzie Miller, Jaysea DeVoe (the youngest certified female yoga instructor and SUP yoga instructor in the U.S), Heather Peterson, Britta Rael, and Andrew Sealy.

There is a word in sanskrit, seva, which means, “service” towards others. Please join in this collective movement, where you can practice seva yoga, while helping to uplift and give to others during a time of need.

Christi Iacono is a 500 hour certified yoga instructor, kids yoga instructor, and owner of In Rhythms Yoga. IRY is a small neighborhood studio in Clairemont, S.D., located in the Mount Streets. She guides adults, kids and families in the ancient tradition of yoga. Christi has experienced many positive physical and mental transformations from her daily personal practice. She is passionate about sharing her experience, inspiration, and dedication with others. She is committed to being a life-long student and teacher of the practice. Christi carefully works with each student in order to find the variation that best serves their body. Work to find the balance of effort and ease in every posture, “sthira sukham asanam.” Yoga is accessible to all.
*IRY offers regularly scheduled vinyasa and yin-based classes on, Sat., Sun. (Yin-Yoga) and Wed. mornings as well as Tues. and Thurs. evening classes.
