St. Mark's Annual Children’s Carnival Returns!

St. Mark’s families and the Clairemont/Bay Park community are all invited to join in the fun on Saturday, April 23 when St. Mark’s School hosts their annual carnival. From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the church grounds at 3502 Clairemont Dr. San Diego 92117 will be filled with games, activities, food, and our incredible silent auction.

Children are invited to play and win prizes or sit in the fire truck from our local crew. Join in fun that all has a theme in Tiki Time  like a photo with a Hawaiian Backdrop "Surf's Up,” a “Hawaiian” Hair Booth, “The Hula Hips” Bean Bag Toss, or “Under The Sea” tunnel—just to name a few.

The Silent Auction is not to be missed. It’s NOT just for kids. There are dinners around town, museums, tours, and activities all over San Diego plus more. Our auction items always go for less than full value, so this is bargain shopping for a great cause.

When you look around at the grounds and classrooms of St. Mark’s, you know the carnival is important. We have refurbished cabinets, replaced carpets, improved our playgrounds, painted our interiors, upgraded our fencing, added shade, and installed technology. Carnival proceeds add to our Financial Aid Fund as well, so it’s terribly important to our children as well.

Join us because it’s been a terrific event for over 30 years in our community and it’s just plain good for kids!  And if you can’t we hope you tell a friend or two. And if you want to help, we can always use another pair of hands. If you have a student 13 or over who needs Community Service Points, we would LOVE to provide them for helping at the carnival.

Hope to see you there!
