FREE Landscape Makeover, a 4-Class Series in Clairemont Starting August 17th - Deadline to submit application is July 22!The WaterSmart Landscape Makeover Series is a FREE educational program that will empower you to upgrade your high-water-use turf area into a WaterSmart landscape. This is done through lectures, hands-on lab work, demonstrations, homework assignments and one-on-one coaching by local landscape and irrigation professionals.
Learn how to transform your yard into a beautiful water-saving landscape! The San Diego County Water Authority and its 24 member agencies are offering a FREE landscape makeover training series in Clairemont starting August 17th. Exact location will be provided once the application is filled out and it is determined if you qualify. Deadline to submit your application for this series starting is July 22nd.
To qualify for participation in this series you must:
• be a homeowner
• identify an existing turf area for removal
• have an in-ground, working irrigation system
• commit to attending all four classes in the series (each class is three hours and held two weeks apart)
Preregistration is REQUIRED by July 22 since local landscape professionals will come to your home before the first class to create a site plan.
