Calling all innovators, makers, woodworkers, metal smiths, entrepreneurs, artisans, crafters and creators, MakerPlace is hosting an end-of-summer Open House.
Learn what San Diego’s biggest and best Do-It-Yourself workshop is all about by touring the 14,000-square-foot facility, viewing equipment demonstrations and meeting the creative community at MakerPlace.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Saturday, August 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and includes:
- a showcase highlighting prototypes and projects created by MakerPlace members
- a Maker Market where you can purchase handmade goods built by MakerPlace members
- refreshments by our friends at Thorne Street Brewery
MakerPlace is located at 1022 W. Morena Blvd. Suite H, in the Morena District. For more information, visit www.makerplace.com or call 619.225.7288.
