The free festival runs from noon to 6 p.m. each day, bringing incredible energy and unforgettable acts to San Diego's historic waterfront.
Popular across the globe, buskers are public street performers known for their unusual and awe-inspiring street acts. The Seaport Village Spring Busker Festival is the only festival of its kind in California, and one of only a few in the U.S., bringing eight to 10 acts to perform throughout the outdoor waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment district.
"We're thrilled to bring this truly unique event to life for locals and visitors and look forward to welcoming another phenomenal set of performers this spring," said Seaport Village General Manager Terry Hall. "From comedic juggling shows to jaw-dropping stunts, there's something for spectators of all ages to enjoy."
While the Spring Busker Festival is free to attend, buskers make a livelihood by performing and will be accepting tips.
Come nightfall, Seaport Village will let performers loose for Buskers After Dark on Saturday, March 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. This untamed show will feature a DJ, food and drink specials and busker acts best suited for those over 18.
Adding to the Spring Busker Festival flair, visitors can enjoy shopping and dining at more than 50 locally owned Seaport Village shops and eateries from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Festival-goers can also head to Seaport's sister property, the Headquarters at Seaport for additional shopping from locally owned stores, beautiful outdoor seating and lounge areas and dining from restaurants including Puesto, Eddie V's and Flour & Barley.
Parking is available in the Seaport Village lots, where guests pay $5 for the first two hours with validation and $3 for every 30 minutes thereafter. In addition, a complimentary shuttle will be provided from Hilton Hotel Bayfront parking lot located on Park Blvd. Parking is $10 for the day and shuttles run every 15 minutes from 11:30 to 6:30 p.m. on both March 4 and 5. Additionally, Seaport Village is easily accessible on Metropolitan Transit System Trolley, via the Seaport Village stop on the Green Line.
